9:17 pm	endings claire has now finished resident evil 5 on the ps3,and it was a bit disappointing to say the least,it was too short for a start,but the graphics are super extra aceness,but it just felt a bit old at times,still not as good as 4. church is going on as before,allthough i seem to have differences of opinion on things with people,but i seem to be keeping the party line,and they seem to want to be "respectable" which is quite strange considering the temple,and what its there for :S (Comment on this)

4:35 pm	temple time The visit to the preston temple was well worth it,i have never felt that way before,and i've been in quite a few "temple" type buildings over the years,and considering i didn't go into the main part of the temple,just the baptistry,shows what kind of building it is. Everything was white,as usual,with lots of pictures everyway you can see,mainly about what the temple is there for,and the work it does. If you can't go (which is most people) i would suggest having a look around the grounds,as only members of the church can enter,and only after having a "pass" which is called a temple recommend,which is issued by the local bishop,and yes,you do wear funny clothes :P (Comment on this)

8:13 pm	the big house I'll be off to this place soon,well,friday anyway :) I'll mainly be helping out with baptisms and the like,and no,you can't come and watch :P After this visit,we should hopefully be in line to go together and do the stuff you do there, ie,endownments,sealings etc,it should be good,well,i hope so :D Current Mood: accomplished (Comment on this)

8:19 pm	next left at the lights.... we have made a strange turn in our family life,claire has just been baptised as a mormon. for those of you who have known me for a while (poor you..) will know that i used to be a mormon,a long time ago when i had short hair,ad due to circumstances both strange and boring we became invlved in the church (LDS) again. This may seem strange to some,but the LDS church doesn't advertise its beliefs very much,and it isn't that much removed from what i followed before,just include some bloke who likes walking on viscous surfaces :) We seem to be ok with it at the mo' as long as most people in the church don't treat us like some sort of know-nothing convert ;) If you think i've gone bonkers,i assure you we haven't,well,maybe just a bit :) Current Mood: amused (1 Comment |Comment on this)

9:53 pm	hmm I've been mulling over an idea,it relates to the idea of "true will" and the way AC explained it,it came across as a pseudo work ethic,ie "its my true will to be a car mechanic" the idea that i had,is that it could also relate to what beliefs you have,and the idea of a "true will" is an over-arching standard,but you have personal beliefs which may vary wildly from what most people think of when you say "thelema" "why are you saying this mark" i hear you think,well,the reason is that i have been approached by some old associates,and i am sorely tempted to accept their offer,but i'm not sure at the moment,i will have to further consult my pineal gland :) Current Mood: contemplative (1 Comment |Comment on this)

7:14 pm	to boldly go.... where 11 million people have gone before,yes,i'm playing lots of "lich king" the new expansion pack for world of warcraft (that should be in caps,really) and it is full of much WIN!! the death knight new class is bloody funny and the new island is amazing,and is great fun,as all good games should be. Its been quite stange lately,and may get stranger next week,as we are expecting a visit from my other halves family,the section which she hasn't seen for a bit,the thing is they are mormons,and with my past,it should be a great laugh at least :) Current Mood: amused Current Music: shiuzo-sweat (Comment on this)

6:27 pm	owie i have a cut/ulcer in my mouth at the mo' its at the front and hurts like a very hurty thing,as its under my teeth, you can imagine the hilarity which ensues when i try to eat anything :( my computer keeps messing up,it is very intolerant of certain speeds of memory,which results in wierd crashes and strange behaviour.So,i have appealed to the Dread Lords of Darkness for a new one,or said parts from which i can construct "cue evil villian laugh" a new one :) I need new books,but all the ones i want are too expensive at the moment or in friggin finnish :S I will appeal to said Overlords of Terrible Doom if they can sort me out for this one :) Current Mood: weird Current Music: fable 2-pub games (Comment on this)

8:05 am	update ver 1.0 in the immortal words of adam ant "don't drink,don't smoke.what do you do?" play world of warcraft, thats what :) yep,i gave up smoking,after 20 years of said addiction,it is no more,and has been that way for over 8 months now.do i feel better for it? not really,but at least i can breathe better :D also,one of the reasons for not updating for so long was that i am too busy with the new addition to the arstall clan,sarah,and it seems my friends list on here is shrinking by the day, am i that much of a bastard that people won't even have me on their lj friends list? I appreciate that certain people have put up with me for many years now, psychomama,sef and even cavalorn :P but i would like to know what heinous act i have done to be "cast into the midden" it baffles me. As regards family,andrew is now 7,and is the same size as a 10 year old,which is fun for buying clothes,sarah is growing daily,and is nearly walking and talking "mama,dada" that sort of stuff,and i have a great marriage,which is good after my last relationship.speaking of which,michael is nearly 14! i don't see him,which is upsetting sometimes,but his mother wants it that way,and as i'm only hs father,i have no say in that :( Hopefully,i have still some friends who will read this,and i will write more often, i promise :) Current Mood: confused (3 Comments |Comment on this)

6:40 pm	mucho wootness we have a nintendo wii and yes,its better than anything else,including the xbox360, but i still like our dreamcast :) we have also another computer to add to our retinue of systems, this is the sixth addition,it is a powerbook G4,quite nice in a mac type of way i have more stuff in my world of warcraft warlock character, and yes, its better than yours :P all in all, a cool time for me :D Current Mood: amused Current Music: krs one-duck down (1 Comment |Comment on this)

4:02 pm	leave my zombie alone... we are now officially addicted to World of Warcraft :) i didn't think i would like the game as much as i did,but it just "clicked" with me,our charcter is an undead Warlock with an imp minion sounds familiar somehow..... On the other hand,my previous posts have been cleared up,a decision has been made,maybe some people will notice,maybe they won't,but at least my mind is made up. 9:35 am	adventuring we will go... We got a xbox360 on wednesday,and i'm very impressed,it seems microsoft has been keeping an eye on what has been going on with the original xbox and the "modding" community,as many things seem very familiar,but the system as a whole is amazing,especially final fantasy XI,which is a major online game,and what we've seen of it,it's absolutely massive :) On a more magickal note,i've been reviewing my past exploits,and going over old ground,so to speak,and i'm wondering if my time in the OTO was worthwhile or not,i've met lots of people over the years,and despite what people think,i still repect most of these people,as i hold loyalty as being one of the most important "virtues" of magick,i could have done what a certain mr collins did,but that i feel is one of the lowest things a person could do to their friends and brothers/sisters. I feel past alliances have been lacking somewhat,i'm an independant sort,and one of my pet hates is being told what to do,or being treated as if i know nothing,the best thing for others to do is to give me a job,and let me get on with it,i have never done anything in my life to directly hurt or interfere with another person,people should remember that. I feel that if i'm not useful in any given situation,then i will move on,but in certain situation it proves to be difficult,as the only alternative would be to go to my previous affiliation,which would stick in the throat of certain people,and make me out to be guilty of betrayal,which i wouldn't want in any way. What should i do? being in the OTO has been important in my life,but i wouldn't want to annoy those people who i respect,but holding a degree and doing nothing is just a waste,i want to work within an OTO in a useful capacity,but i don't want to alienate my past affiliations.
